Stories from Signor Piattini
Today at our tea time meeting we welcomed a guest who was involved in the Tasis community for almost all of his life. Angelo Piattini has assumed many roles throughout his career at Tasis; however, he is best known as being the Tasis Banker in his latest years of work at the American School. It was very exciting to meet with Mr.Piattini, since he has been at Tasis for more than forty years. He met many people, and he certainly knows many stories from different years. It was interesting to listen to many of his memories about the Tasis community, the teachers, the students and Mrs.Fleming. From what he had to say, Tasis has changed a lot throughout the years. According to Mr.Piattini the people have also greatly changed. Overall, I really enjoyed spending time with Angelo; he was able to interest me with his funny stories about our school.
