It's Tea Time! - E' l'ora del te'!

I just switched to Tea Time, this is my second time here. Last time we went to meet Mrs. Fontana and other two ladies to share stories of their childhood and their hard times in Montagnola, while enjoying some tea. It is quite surreal to think about all they had to do at our age compared to what we do. Their adolescence was all about working for their family.
It was fun to hear about the times they escaped from their houses to go clubbing, and to hear them share their stories with a little sadness and the nostalgy of the good times. It's hard for a society so advanced like ours of today to see the world how they saw it and to relate to it, back when there were no cars, no television, or no phones. Chatting with them gives a lot of thought to mind. It was very amusing, and I wonder how we would survive in those conditions. I look forward to meeting them again and finding out some more about them and their "history"!

Mi sono appena iscritta a Tea Time, ed era la mia seconda volta qui. Nelle ultime settimane siamo andati a conoscere la Signora Fontana e due altre signore per ascoltare le loro esperienze di gioventu', della dura vita a Montagnola, bevendo un po' di te'. E' molto difficile e quasi surreale pensare a tutto quello che dovevano fare loro alla nostra eta' rispetto a tutto cio' che facciamo noi adesso.
Era bello sentirle parlare delle volte che scappavano di casa per andare in discoteca con un po' di nostalgia e tristezza per il ricordo dei vecchi tempi. E' difficile per una societa' cosi' avanzata e progredita come la nostra al giorno d'oggi capire il mondo com'era ai loro tempi, quando non c'erano macchine, televisione, o telefoni, e parlandone con loro fa riflettere. Sembra quasi impossibile sopravvivere senza di queste cose adesso! Spero di rincontrarle per raccontarci un po' di piu' di "storie!"
